We are a company founded over 50 years ago by Chiquita Brands, which was acquired in April-May 1997 by four major producers under the name CUKRA INDUSTRIAL, SA

CUKRA is located in Nicaragua and is one of the main peanut industries of Central America which promote peanut cultivation, stock, processes and trade. We export raw peanuts and blanched peanuts into North America, Central America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Our peanut comes from Nicaraguan farmers who cultivate around 50,000 hectares with an estimated 200,000 metric tons annually; CUKRA which handles 25% to 30% of national production and export of groundnuts.

We are certified under the standard of the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and we are registered as Establishment 100 as a HACCP Certified Plant by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Nicaragua (MAGFOR).

We shell, classify, select and trade raw peanuts and blanched peanuts in different sizes with the highest standards of quality, safety and legality to satisfy and meet the expectations and demands of the market.
